Well, I knew that after losing my job, things would get bad for a bit, but I didn't realize it would happen this quick. Yesterday, we had to take our new vehicle, well, it was a 2000, but it was new to us, back to the dealership because, until I have another job, we weren't sure we could make the payments. I'd rather return it than have them have to repossess it a few months down the line. They were pretty cool with it, though. They're giving us back the $800 we put down so it's not all bad. Problem is, now we're back to having just one car. We were kind of lax about getting groceries so there's not much to eat here and now the wife is at work and won't be home until about 10 tonight. Joy joy joy.

I guess it's finally hit me now. I woke up today just really depressed. It's not fuckin' fair, but who expects life to be fair. I'm the one employee in that company who didn't have a second source of income. Well, yes, there's the wife's job, but I mean, most of the other writers and editors also write and stuff for other companies. They have other jobs or business to fall back on. This was all I had. And who do they cut loose? Yup. Me. Oh well. Like I said. Who expectslife to be fair?

Nothing else much going on. Posted my resume at Monster.com and have submitted an application for a job at FedEx. I'd really like to get the FedEx job. I'm just not really in the mood for another "online" job. I'd rather have some kind of factory or what have you type of job. One where you come home at the end of the day and are tired and your hands are dirty, but you at least feel that you've made a contribution to the world. Somehow. Oh well, I'll keep my fingers crossed. Oh, and it's been quite a while since anyone has signed my guestbook so why don't you drop by and just say hi. I could use a bit of company right now.
