Lost my job today. Got the call around 1:00. After six years at the same job, I'm now unemployed. I did have an entry here that went into more detail, but I guess it could be construed as a bit disparaging (even though it wasn't my intention) and I don't want to make things worse. The gist of it is this. I'm technically still on the pay until the end of the month and then I'm history. My position was "eliminated" and so was I. Well, at least I get to keep my sooper cool computer. Yippee.
