Well, this is going to be short and sweet. Been meaning to update for the past week, but kept getting distracted. Ok, I was being fuckin' lazy, but who cares. Not much has been happening anyway.

The wife and I spent most of the week X-mas shopping for the family and friends. Really took a huge bite out of my paycheck, but we've got bills paid and rent paid so we're still good. We've actually done a damn good job of keeping track of our spending and I predict, for once, a month without an overdraft. My family are so damn hard to shop for. My dad doesn't really care what he gets and my mom's just about the same. Oh well, I'm sure they'll like what we got them.

The wife and I spent all Saturday afternoon putting up X-mas lights. Our house, though, doesn't have an exterior outlet, so we had to run an extension cord out through a couple of windows. Thank goodness for jealousy windows. We spent about 2 and ½ hours and the house looks pretty good. Then, about 30 minutes after the wife takes her mom home (her mom helped us), 75% of the lights stop working. They just fuckin' shut off! I was so pissed. Most of them were new lights. Well, I didn't feel like fuckin' with them then so we decided to check them out today. I went and looked them over but still couldn't figure it out. Well, the wife, the MacGuyverin' bitch that she is, takes an entire set out of the loop and they start working again. The set she took out were lights that my idiot sister-in-law left behind and apparently they were shit. So, we've got the lights back to working and we're basking in the coolness. Now, all we need is some fuckin' snow and I'll be sound as a pound.

Well, I've run out of shit to ramble about so I'm hitting the sack and I'll try to put up something more interesting tomorrow.
