Banking, Driving and I've got stress.
"Now...we are fucked."

This week has not been good since we took the wife to Tampa, and now it's just gotten a shite sight worse. We're overdrawn at the bank. Ok, fine, been there...done that. But now, we're overdrawn by some godawful amount. An amount that the wife's paycheck won't even cover when it goes through Thursday night/Friday morning. The only thing we can hope for is that the last thing to go through, the check for the car insurance, gets returned...again. It was returned once and they tried to reclear it. Now, it's put us into a fuckin' hole.

You'd think that we'd fucked up enough money-wise to be able to anticipate shit like this and avoid it, but noooo. Seems like we can't very well survive without some kind of brain melting stress in our lives. Shit. I'm about ready to go out and knock over a fuckin' bank or something. I'm so sick and tired of this shit. And what's worse is that it's all our own goddamn fault. We can't blame the bank, even though we try like hell, and we can't blame anyone else. It's our fault. So why do we do this? Beats the fuck out of me. If any of you lot have an answer, then I'd be fuckin' ecstatic if you'd share it with me.

Tonight is MonkeyBoy's Open House at his school. It's only for Pre-K, K, and 1st grade so there shouldn't be much of a crowd. Hell, I can remember when I was in elementary school in my small hometown in BFE. The Open House was held for the entire school, K-7. Anyway, I'm gonna kip the lads off at my mother-in-laws while I go and visit with his teacher and check out the school and stuff. Should be interesting. I've already met his teacher, Ms. Brown, and spoken with her a few times. She seems really nice. She's actually kind of cute and she seems to be interested and concerned in all of her kids, which is a plus. I just hope the night goes quickly. I've got to work tonight and I'm going to have a ton of stuff to do so I'm not really looking forward to losing an hour and a half right in the midst of it.

Well, I finished Grand Theft Auto III. Yup, finished it. Well, finished it in terms of jobs. I completed the final "job" yesterday right before I had to go and get MonkeyBoy at school. Even though I've finished it, it doesn't mean the game's over. There are still other things I can do. There are missions called "rampages" where you just go to an area, it gives you a weapon and you go on a killing spree. For instance, in Shoreside Vale, I found one that said "17 Columbian heads in 120 seconds". Then, when the mission starts, you've got a sniper rifle and there's a bunch of Columbians walking around on the sidewalk. Sounds easy, right? Well, the only way to "score" in this mission is to hit them in the head, which is much tougher than you'd thing. The controls a pretty sensitive. That plus the fact that you've got a time counting down makes it a bit tougher. I've yet to complete a rampage.

There are also some really cool missions called "Toyz" missions. Hidden throughout Liberty city are these blue vans with the Toyz logo on the side. When you get in, you're given control of a little RC car filled with explosives. Your mission is to drive the RC car around and blow up as many of a certain type of vehicle as you can in 2 minutes. There's one where you have to blow up Diablo Stallions, another with Mafia Sentinels and another one with Hood Rumpo XLs.

Then, of course, there's the Vigilante missions (cop car, enforcer or tank), paramedic missions (ambulance), and taxi driver missions (taxi or cabbie), so there's still stuff to do. Lately, my favorite thing to do has been to go to a building where I can get on the roof (parking garage works best) and just sit up there and snipe at people as they walk by. Then, when the cops show up, work on them. It's actually interesting. If you shoot people on street level, when the cops show up, they come after you. If you climb up on a building, when the cops show up, they just drive around, ramming the building until their cars blow up (which raises your wanted level). Even when the military finally gets involved and shows up with tanks, all they do is just sit there and ram the building. The only thing that can really get to you is the helicopter and when they show up, I just nail them with the rocket launcher. I also have full health cheat, a full armor cheat and all weapons cheat, so if the helicopter shoots me up pretty bad before I take it out, I just push a few buttons and I'm back like new. I must have spent about 45 minutes yesterday just killing anything I could hit. Kind of a good stress reliever actually.

Well, I'm going to stop for now. Might have another more 9/11 related entry later on today. Yes, it was a horrible event and it really pissed me off that these fuckin' terrorists had the balls to pull something like that. But, I'm also kind of sick of hearing about it. America has this tendency to just latch onto tragedy with an iron grip and keep shoving it in your face. Why don't we find some positive things, like a cure for some disease or something and latch onto that with the same fervor? Guess it doesn't get the same ratings. Oh well. Take care America.
