Games, Books and a pretty damn good day.
"Furthering your career as a felon."

I've got a PS2! I've got a PS2!! I've got a fuckin' PS2!!! I can't believe it. I haven't even taken the thing out of the box yet. I've just kind of stared at it with a glazed look and drooled a bit. And the first game I got? Fuckin' Grand Theft Auto III! I've been reading Sinnamon's diary and she's given it fuckin' rave reviews, so I just had to get it. Took a bit of coddling the wife and shit, but I finally fuckin' got it. Next month? An X-Box. Heh.

Oh, I also got a new keyboard. My old one was over 4 years old and was getting kind of worn. Keys were sticking and some of them had stopped working. The shift key was getting tempramental and only working when it felt like it, which wasn't very often. And no, the keys weren't sticking because of me whacking off to internet porn. They were sticking because of spilled soda and kool-aid, and basic old age. So, anyway, I got a cheapo CompUSA keyboard, but it works for what I want. And the cool thing? It's ergonomic. Which is a fancy way of saying it will still give you carpal tunnel syndrome, only it will take longer. I still like it, though. Gonna take a tad bit of getting used to, but I still like it.

So, the wife's getting closer to the day she has to leave and we started getting things for her trip. Went to Target and got her an alarm clock to take with her to her hotel and some new shoes. Also took her to a Barnes and Noble so she could get a few books. She's not much of a TV watcher and she needs something to keep her busy at night, so she got a few new books. She's a sci-fi/fantasy nut, though, and won't even think about reading anything else so I had to drive her up into Boca to get her books. No biggie, though. Led to me getting a PS2 so I'd have driven her to fuckin' Canada if she wanted.

The final items on my early X-mas list I picked up today were the xXx soundtrack and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels on DVD. I love this fuckin' movie. If you haven't seen it then you'd best get your ass out and rent it. It's written and directed by the same guy who wrote and directed Snatch, Guy Ritchie. It's a fuckin' brilliant heist movie full of comedy and complete surprise. It's definitely worth it to rent and even buy if you have such an inkling. The soundtrack, I've yet to listen to. I got it at Target, so I hope it's not edited. All of the songs had best have any and all dirty words that were originally recorded...because I can't take it back.

Oh well. I just spent almost the entire day at my mother-in-laws trying to figure out why she couldn't get her shitty computer online. After that, we spent another 4 hours running around and doing our shit. So, I'm going to watch the end of LS&2SB and then hook up my new toy and run rampant over Liberty City.

Y'all have a good Friday evening.
