Hey, two entries in a row. I'm on a roll! I keep this up, I might actually have people coming and reading this damn thing again. Go figure.

Well, along with updating my diary layout, I've also revamped my guestbook. I went through and deleted all the old entries to start with a clean slate. So, go check out the new guestbook and leave your mark while you're there...ok? I also dumped my old Bravenet counter, nothing against the Braves, just wanted something new, and have started over with a new Sitemeter counter. So, come to my site soon and often so I know that you love me. Ok, enough about the site.

My sister-in-law is slowly sliding over onto my shitlist. She asked us to watch her baby while she went out, which we're more than happy to do. But, we didn't get the poor girl until after 11:00, and then her mother never came and got her! After not getting to bed until midnight, we were woken by a screaming baby around 1:00 and then again about 5:00. My wife had to work today, so she just stayed up with the baby after that. She calls her sister at about 7:30 to find out where the fuck she is and her sister says that she was too drunk to come and get the baby. What kind of shit is that? So, the wife ended up taking the baby to her on her way to work.

The poor girl is probably going to have a terrible home life. My sister-in-law is a good mother, but she has terrible judgement. The baby's father is a lazy, no good, worthless piece of shit. He sits around all day doing nothing and orders my sister-in-law around. My wife's half-sister lives with them too and he treats her like a slave. He's already been fired from one job for stealing, and uses most of his paycheck to buy dope, which he smokes around the baby. He expects to be waited on like a king. He even cheated on my sister-in-law while she was in the hospital having his baby! Of course, when we told her this, she didnt' believe it and went and asked him about it. Of course, he denied it and she believed him, over her family. That, to me, is very bad judgement. The wife still has hopes that on one of these nights out, she'll find someone else and get rid of his sorry ass, but I'm not holding my breath. She keeps defending his worthless ass so I've washed my hands of them.

On top of that, he didn't even want his name on the baby's birth certificate, and, when he found out it was a girl (and that she looks white), he started saying that she wasn't his. Yes, you read that right, "she looks white". He's black, my sister-in-law is white. Now, you might think the 'Bear has a problem with interracial relationships. On the contrary, more power to them. I have a problem with a lazy piece of shit taking advantage of someone else (and her family) no matter what color he is. The day he actually gets off his lazy ass and starts taking part in his daughter's life and making some kind of contribution, then I might start to respect him. Till then, no matter if he's black, white, blue, green or what ever the fuck color, I think he's a lazy fuck and a waste of skin.

Eh, enough rant. It's just that sometimes, I think the wife and I are way too nice to people. We willingly let them take advantage of us. That doesn't stop us from bitching about it afterwards, but whatcha gonna do?

Well, gotta go cook dinner for the wife and cubs. Maybe next entry I'll update you all on how Icebear Jr.'s getting along and about our 6-year-old's, who I call Big Daddy now, first year of school. Till then. Watch out where the huskies go and don't you eat no yellow snow.
