Well, I decided to work from home yesterday, mainly because I didn't want to get up so I slept in. Didn't work out too great though. During the night, the disk on our server crashed big time and we were down most of the day. They got a new disk in and did a restore, but it was 2 cycles old, so I had to go in and re-FTP all the stuff I had on my computer at work that was current. Luckily, our head programmer pulled our ass out of the fire, found a more recent backup and decompressed it. If not, who knows how long I would have been at the office. After that, I took the fam to the Chinese buffet and we over ate. Then we went to Office Depot, just down the sidewalk from Royal King Buffet and looked at printers. That took all of ten minutes and then the wife and I kind of got into it. I found a video game I wanted to get and she said we couldn't really get anything because we need to hold onto our money, Demonchild was driving me fuckin' nuts, and I was tired so we kind of fumed around the store for a bit and then left. I think we've decided on a printer though.

Ok, I have to be honest here. They're playing the Britney Spears Pepsi commercial and she is so fuckin' hot in it. Damn! I'd nail her. Yeah, it's the "typical male" coming out in me. Now VH1 is playing a Bob Dylan song. Something about homesick blues or something. It's the video that starts off with him in an alley with these big white cards that have some of the lyrics on them and he drops them as the song goes on. INXS ripped it off for one of their videos later on. I got to tell you, I think Dylan's stuff then sucks just as much as his stuff now. But I'm not a fan, so...

Earlier this morning I watched Detroit Rock City. It's a pretty good movie. I've never been a big KISS fan, but I do like a lot of their songs. I'd like to say the movie made me nostalgic for 1978 and stuff, but I was only 6 years old and we didn't do anything real special. In '79, however, we went to Disneyworld so that year sticks out much better. I could kind of relate to one of the characters though, with the overly religious parents griping about their taste in music. Mine were no where near as bad as his, though. Recently, I've also seen The Emperor's New Groove and Little Nicky. I liked them both well enough. The Adam Sandler movie was expectedly stupid, but it had a pretty big name cast, plus, you can't go wrong with a cameo by Ozzy, specially when he bites the head off of a big, evil bat. Rock 'n Roll baby!!!

Ok, well, that's enough for me for now. I'm going to listen to TLC finish "Waterfalls" and then I guess I'll either see if I can find anything else on to watch or I'll go to bed. Neither one, however, seems too promising. Catch you all later.
