So, I have my checkride for my Private Pilot license on Friday the 13th. If I were a superstitious person, I'd be worried. I said if. But, I'm not. In fact, Friday the 13th has always been kind of a good day for me. I can't recall anything good that's happened in the past, but neither can I recall anything bad so it all evens out. Besides, I know I can fly this plane and pass this test, so there's no point in getting worried about it. So why am I nervous?

Yesterday, I happened to catch the same biography of Gallagher that Gawain did. I've always liked Gallagher. I really love how he looks at the world with "new eyes". He's really good at picking politics apart. Hell, he's really good at picking anything apart. And with the sledge-o-matic, he's really good at taking anything apart. I know some people think his humor is a bit low-brow, but that's right up my alley. He's very observant and dammit, he makes me laugh. That's the whole damn point!

I would agree with Gawain about going and renting all 3 "Prophecy" movies, but I've only seen the first one. But it does kick ass! Christopher Walken is great and the guy that plays Lucifer (Viggo Mortenson...I think) is wonderful. It really is a great movie, go check it out.

Yes! I love this shit. I especially love how the angels, when they're on earth, sit like they still have wings. It was kind of the inspiration for this illustration. It really is a lot better when it's seen in reality. It was hard to scan because it's big.
