It's 20 till 2 AM and I'm nervous about going to bed. I think I'm in trouble...again. The wife wanted to go to bed and "get sweaty". I said I wasn't in the mood. She stopped speaking to me after that. I take that as a bad sign. She did say she was bored and was going to bed, but came back out a while later and played some on the computer. She had a set of headphones on and never turned to face me. I asked her if she was mad at me, but she just said no and kept doing what she was doing. I have a feeling that, since I'm awake in the living room, I'd best sleep in here too. I thought she had gotten past this, but apparently not. Such is life.

Since Starz is having their free weekend, I've been watching movies most of the day. I just finished watching a movie, "The Boiler Room", that was good, but aggrivating at the same time. Basically, these 20-something money grubbers would call people and offer them great deals on stock in order to rip them off months down the line. It was all done for money. You know, it's really pathetic the things humans will do to each other for money. I don't mind people fucking themselves up over money, but to take people with you, or to deliberately hurt someone for it...that's another matter.

I'm watching "The 13th Warrior" now. I've seen it before, but it's a great movie, in my opinion and worth another viewing. Oh, since it's free, I'm also taping it. Heh. I want to stay up and watch it all, but I'm at a bit of an impasse. I'm afraid that if I stay up much later then the wife will give me shit about staying up so late and her not getting any. But, I'm also not tired and know that if I go to bed now, I'll be laying there wide awake for who knows how long. I hate times like this.

My parents are coming down to visit with us next month. This is both a blessing and a curse. I can already list for you the things they'll gripe about. 1) I'm definitely going to hear how much I need a fuckin' hair cut. 2) They're going to bother us about our money situation. 3) They're going to bug us and bug us about the baby's shots. I could go on, but this is getting aggrivating. I don't want to sound like I don't want them to come down. I really do. It's been almost a year since the last time they came down. But, they have a tendency to make the visits somewhat less than enjoyable, usually by accident, but still. Luckily, I'll be working during the time they're here so I'll have a break now and then. But, I can't wait either so...we'll have to see how it goes.
