Hey! I've finally broken 10K! Go me! And it only took me a fuckin' year to do it too. Sure, some diaries out there hit that mark in half the time, but do they have the ever-lovin' sensibility of your friendly, neighborhood 'Bear? I don't think so! So, milestone!
This is going to be a short entry. Sorry. I actually have a lot I want to talk about, but I have to leave in about 15 minutes to go meet my flight instructor and then head to the airport. Gonna fly baybee!! I'm nervous has all hell too. My checkride, the big test, is going to be scheduled for a week from today. So, March 16 (2 days after Icebear Jr.'s birthday), I'm going to be winging skyward with an FAA examiner in an attempt to get the coveted Private Pilot certificate. I think I'm gonna puke!
Well, I've got a few things to get taken care of before I go so I'm going to cut it short. Hey, no whining, I told you it would be. Don't worry, I'll be back after my flight and I'll have a nice long, drawn-out entry for ya. I'm not going to say it'll be awe-inspiring or even good, but it will most definitely be long.
