I don't know about the rest of you but this past weekend just went by too damn fast. I guess the fact that I slept until noon on Saturday didn't help matters either. But that doesn't mean it was a bad weekend. It was actually a pretty good weekend. Why was it good, you ask? Because we got Otto, that's why!
Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, people of all ages, let me be the first to introduce you to the newest member of the Icebear family...Otto!
Otto, is a white-faced Cockatiel and is such a sweetie. We got him yesterday from a bird store in Delray beach and have been doting on him ever since. He's still young and requires hand-feeding once a day, but he's doing good. See? He's even smiling for his picture. Otto isn't the last addition, not by far. Tomorrow or later on this week, the wife is going to be getting her finches so we're going to have another little flock of feathered friends soon. We're pretty pumped about it.
Hey, if any of my readers out there want to do something extremely wonderful and loving for the 'Bear and want to get me a present, I've got the perfect gift for you to get. It's from West Coast Choppers and it's called the Villain. I'm totally in love with this machine.
Problem is, the thing probably runs somehwere in the neighborhood of $40,000 so, I doubt I'll be cranking one up anytime soon. Oh well, it's good to have goals to shoot for. Even if they are completely out of your reach and will probably never be attained. Hmmm.
Well, Anenigma should be happy. I got my copy of Buffalo '66 from Netflix this weekend and watched it yesterday. It's the weirdest thing. I started watching it and right off, I hated it. I don't know why, I just hated it. I thought Vincent Gallo as Billy Brown was grating and annoying and I was about to shut it off. But I told myself, "Just watch the damn thing." As it turns out, Annie is right. It's a really good movie. It's a really fucked up movie, but it's really good. I actually think I'm goign to watch it again. I'm sure there are some things, some subtle nuances that I missed the first go 'round. So, thanks Annie, you recommended a winner.
Well, that's all for today. I didn't do shit at work and there's nothing else really to tell about so, until tomorrow. *Icebear exits waving and making motorcycle noises*
