Sorry for being so absent folks. I've put way too much importance on coming up with a new, more Icebear-like layout, so I basically put my whole diary on hold until I came up with one. Problem is, I've been busy at work and haven't come up with anything new yet. The longer I put it off, the longer I go between updates. I'll try to get some thing done A.S.A.P.

I actually had thought about having it done by last Thursday, January 18. Why last Thursday? Well, it just so happened to be my birthday, is why. Yes, the 'Bear hit the ripe old age of 29 last week. I wanted to at least do an entry on my birthday, but as a gift to myself, I took the day off. I slept late, and then did a whole lot of nothing. Unfortunately, I also didn't have a new layout to debut so, there went that idea. Oh well. I've got some ideas swimming around in the vast ocean that is my mind and I've got The Kitty helping and offering suggestions. I'll have something new soon. I promise.

I tried playing a little joke on our office staff Friday, but I don't know if it worked. For my birthday my mother got a me a couple of T-shirts from the NFL shop with the name and logo of my favorite football team, the Tampa Bay Buccanners on them. One of the shirts was basic black and had "Buccaneers" in an arch on top, a black and grey version of the "Buccaneer flag" and then "Tampa Bay Football" underneath. The thing was, this was a really heavy shirt and I noticed inside that it was grey. I thought it had a grey liner, but it ends up that the shirt is reversible. It has the same design on the grey shirt, only it has black text and the flag is in color. So, I wear the grey shirt in to work and then every time I went and used the bathroom, I switched it. I did this like 6 times or so, but I don't really think anyone noticed. Oh well, I had fun fuckin' with people's heads.

Speaking of shirts, I'm still trying to come up with images and graphics for my line of 'Bear Wear shirts. This isn't really my idea, and it doesn't really have anything to do with the 'Bear or Icebear.diaryland.com, but I still think it's a great shirt. What do you think? Would you want to wear something like this?

I'm still trying to come up with some cool designs, though. I want 'Bear Wear to be kind of a mix between some cool, well done designs, and also some very funny concept pieces. I'd really like to do a few cartoons from Gary Larson's Far Side but I'm not sure how to deal with the copyright. Here's one I'd love to use.

There are a few others as well. I also want, if I ever get my damn drawing table put back together (and have room to), that I want to draw up some cool designs too. God, I hate being such a perfectionist sometimes. Oh well. Keep checking back and when I have something for you all, I'll let you know. And you'd better buy now because when I die, I'm raising the prices.
