Well, well, well. It's been a while since I've updated, eh? Sorry about that, but a little thing called VACATION got in the way. Yes, I could have updated over my vacation, but I was too busy staying up until 3 and 4 in the morning playing The Sims and Age of Wonders. Very addictive shit believe you me. But, that's not all I did.

Friday, December 29, I spent a couple hours driving to Holly's house to bring her all of our rats. That was kind of hard on the wife. We got rid of eveything. All 15-16 rats and the guinea pig. It was tough, but we can take heart in the fact that it won't be forever. We'll have more rats someday. The good news is, looks like we're getting the 3 BR apartment. We're planning on paying the $500 transfer fee Friday, then moving in over the weekend. Of course, we haven't cleared everything with the manager yet, but we're hoping.

We didn't do much for the New Year. As you can guess, we were on the computer playing Age of Wonders up until about 11:30, then we got online with the mother-in-law and chatted over MSN messenger until it was 2001. She's a worrier, that woman, and she actually believed all the bullshit that people were spreading about it being the actual beginning of the new millenium (which it is) and that things were going to shut off and shit. No matter how much I assured her that this was just as much bullshit as the Y2K apocalypse, she was still worried until she saw it rollover to 01/01/01 and nothing happend. At least I got a big "Told ya so" out of it.

Actually, after having 3 days off for X-mas, then working a day (barely) and then having 6 days off I really didn't want to come back into the office. But, oh well. Had to. So, now I'm back and I'm updating again so things are hunky dinky. Oh, and since it is a new millenium and a new year and all, I will be changing my layout to something a bit more, well IceBear-ish, so stay tuned. Plus, I'm about to hit the big 160, AND I'm about a month away from my one-year anniversary. Kewl.

Oh, speaking of milestones and stuff, I'm going to be shameless here and plug myself. Two weeks from today, I will be edging one year closer to the big 3-0. Yes, that's right, on January, 18th, 2001, I will be 29. My mother can't believe it. Her little baby is almost 30. Of course, she doesn't see me as being grown up now, I'm still her little baby, she just sees herself as old now. She's the furthest from it. She's only 54 and she doesn't even look that. Oh! Yesterday was Demonchild's birthday. He is now officially 5-years-old. Woohoo! Ironically, a relative was over at the mtoher-in-laws with her twin 9-year-olds and Demonchild was as big, if not bigger, than they were. He's going to be a rather large child.

Well, that's about it for now. I was hoping that I could come up with something cool or witty or humorous to say, like Sporkboy ususally does, but I struck out today.
